Save and Use an Email Template
When you design a regular email that you'd like to reuse, you can save it as a template. Save as many templates as you'd like for your future marketing needs.
In this article, you'll learn how to save and use an email template.
Before you start
Here are some things to know before you begin this process.
- When you save an email design as a template from the new builder, it can only be used in the new builder. Additionally, templates saved from the classic builder can only be used in the classic builder.

Save your email as a template in the new builder
To save an email design as a template in the new builder, follow these steps.
- Click the Campaigns icon.
- Click All campaigns.
- Click the draft campaign you want to work with. To create a template from a sent email, replicate it and continue.
- In the Content section of the campaign builder, click Edit Design.
- Click Templates.
- Click the Heart icon.
- In the pop-up modal, enter a name for your new template and click Save.
- Click Return To Campaign to continue working.
Great job! Your new template will be available for you to edit on the Templates page of your account or in the new email builder.

To save an email design as a template in the classic builder, follow these steps.
To save an email design as a template in the classic builder, follow these steps.
- Click the Campaigns icon.
- Click All campaigns.
- Click the draft campaign you want to work with. To create a template from a sent email, replicate it and continue.
- In the Content section of the campaign builder, click Edit Design.
- On the design step, click the Template drop down menu and choose Save this design as a template.
- In the pop-up modal, enter a name for your template and click Save.
- Click Return To Campaign to continue working.
Your new template will be available for you to use on the Templates page or under Saved templates in the classic email builder.
Use a saved template
After you save your template, you can use it to start a new campaign from the new builder or the classic builder. Classic builder templates can also be selected from the Templates page in your account.
From the new builder
To choose a saved template from the new builder, follow these steps.
- In the Content section, click Design Email.
- Click Templates.
- On the Saved tab, click the saved template you want to use for your campaign.
From the classic builder
To choose a saved template from the classic builder, follow these steps.
- In the Content section, click Design Email.
- On the templates step, click Saved templates.
- Click the saved template you want to use for your campaign.
From the Templates page
If your account's default email builder is the classic builder, you can choose a saved template from the Templates page.
- Click the Campaigns icon.

Click Email templates.

Click the drop-down menu next to the template you want to use, and choose Create Campaign.
This will take you to the campaign builder with your chosen template saved in the Content section. - Click Edit Design to make any necessary changes.
That's it! Now you can use your saved template to speed up your process and reach your audience.
